To do in Victoria: free workshops

A lovely friend of mine passed along this invitation to free workshops put on by the Anti-Violence Project. I like the mix of DIY skills with more formal activist topics. Details:

Saturday, April 2, 10am–6pm
University of Victoria, David Strong Building

“Tools for Change: Anti-Violence Skill-Building is a day long series of dynamic and interactive lectures and workshops, providing an opportunity to explore topics relating to the Anti-Violence movement.”

Some of the themes include:

  • DIY Silkscreening
  • Zine Making
  • Language
  • Law for Activists
  • Healing
  • Mobilization
  • and much more!

This event is free of charge for participants, however donations will be accepted.

Limited space is available, so please pre-register by March 30.
