Period week!
This week, since I'm due to have my period, I'm going to post a bunch of menstruation-related things.
For starters, this link has been burning a whole in my pocket for some time: possibly the most uncomfortable invention ever? It's like a combination grope, wedgie, and huge pad. Wow.
To counterbalance the discomfort I feel even thinking about using that device, I'd like to offer these tips about acupressure for relieving menstrual discomfort. I've had great luck with massage and stretching to relieve cramps, so I'm kind of hoping I get killer cramps this week just so I can see if acupressure works for me too. Odds are good so far: my boobs are really sore, which is usually a sign that I haven't been taking my pills at exactly the same time every day this month and can expect hormone-related period discomfort. Hooray?
